Our lodge grew from a simple idea: share the warmth of home with travellers discovering this remarkable corner of Zambia.

Our story

Zambezi Mist Lodge was born from a deep love for Livingstone and the majestic Victoria Falls. Founded by a local family with a passion for hospitality, the lodge began as a modest guesthouse welcoming travellers from across the globe who came to witness the breathtaking “Smoke That Thunders.”

Over the years, we have grown from a small homestead into a lodge that brings modern comfort together with the warmth of Zambian culture. Every garden path and friendly face reflects a community proud to share the beauty of this place.

Today, we remain a welcoming home base for curious travellers—a place where adventure meets tranquillity, and where every guest is welcomed as part of our extended family.
